Cancer Case Files: Penile Cancer Diagnosis and Staging is a three-part interactive eLearning series designed to support urologists in improving the recognition, diagnosis, staging, referral, and management of penile cancer within routine clinical practice.
Using realistic patient cases, interactive clinical decision points, guideline-based teaching, and evidence-based management pathways, the modules guide learners through the practical application of current ESMO-EURACAN, EAU-ASCO, NICE, and BAUS-aligned recommendations for penile cancer care.
Across three patient journeys, learners explore key challenges in penile cancer diagnosis and staging, including symptom recognition, referral timing, clinical examination, imaging, biopsy decision-making, pathology interpretation, lymph node assessment, TNM staging, and multidisciplinary management.
The modules combine case-based learning with interactive multiple-choice questions, pathology interpretation, imaging review, guideline summaries, and practical clinical discussion to reinforce real-world clinical decision-making. Educational content is supported throughout by evidence from international guidelines and contemporary literature.
The programme is designed specifically for urologists outside specialist penile cancer centres and aims to improve confidence in recognising penile cancer, initiating appropriate investigations, understanding referral pathways, and applying evidence-based staging approaches within clinical practice.
